K-Day Collectors Event Feb 2017

  It's that time of the year again. K-Day is Feb 18th. A time for all those who collect to come out and get their hands on a case. That is, if there are enough cases. Kmart isn't the best at these events and I don't mean to be rude, but they need to learn to follow the rules. Every time I go, there is something different happening.

   Anyway, this year is looking good! Finally something everyone was asking for.....Datsun Bluebird 510.

Mixed reviews on it. I really don't like the wheels. The wheels don't fit in with the car.

Color wise, I think it looks great!

Now, onto what we will be expecting.

Hot wheels has some special Kmart exclusive color cars that are going to appear.

55 Chevy is in recolor. I just barely found the first release (black) of the year. Now its in a beautiful green! Really cool looking car! I'm excited for this one!

Cool one isn't really what it says. "Cool" Not so cool. But then again, its more for the young ones than us collectors.

Custom 56 Ford Truck in its second color of the year. This casting looks amazing and I'm sure it will also be the star of the show. That is until a super is pulled. But you can say, I'll be getting my hands on a few.

Dodge Viper (not sure if in line up this year) looks great in the black. Another model I am looking forward to. I bet it will look great in some rubber wheels!

The first to market cars.

BMW M4 doesn't look too bad in the blue color. Not sure if that's an actual color that BMW uses, but maybe they should???

Chevy Silverado looks sooooo beautiful. This model for sure will be getting some rubber wheels. I think by far this is the best color we have seen in 2017. Still wishing I got the Target red color... Kinda looks like its plastic and I will be mad if it is...

Lamborghini Coutach doesn't sit right with me. I just don't like the tooned cars.

Hello,

   I am truly sorry that I've been away for a while. I spent time working on different items for my other YouTube channels. But, it's time to come back. There will be a lot of videos coming within the next few days. Mainly Greenlight but there will be Hot wheels and Matchbox.


   Recently, I've had the chance to make a morning stop at a Target. There was a group of people waiting outside. My first thought was, they must know about the Hot wheels. Hot wheels are .89 cents at Target. When Hot wheels are so cheap, Target likes to stock up at the warehouse. So, 1-3 cases go to stores. I was waiting with these people and next thing you know, the doors opened (The time was about 7:55.) We all walk in and the whole group goes left towards customer service and I'm left alone. I walk to the Hot wheels section and start looking around. At this point, no one has walked up behind me yet. The cars looked all weird, early 2016 cars in 2017.... The super was hiding behind a car on the bottom of the pegs. As seen in the photo below, I found the Camaro from 2016. I moved the car over so I could take that photo. I am very happy I found this super. Mainly because I found 2 Error Supers on Spring cards. Now, I have the actual super to go along with them.
